I love rugs, especially kilims, and I’m lucky to own some of them. Out of curiosity, I tried to imitate one , and fell in awe of the complexity behind the apparent simplicity of the weaving and the skillset shown by the unknown weaver. Since then it’s another side of my tapestry work.
J’aime les tapis, tout particulièrement les kilims, et j’ai la chance d’en avoir quelques uns. Pour comprendre comment ils étaient faits, j’ai commencé à en tisser un, et j’ai été ébahie par l’habileté de la tisserande. Depuis, c’est un autre facette de mon travail.
