I visited this exhibition in this very interesting small museum in the town of Jouy-en-Josas, in the South of Paris. There was a lot of beautiful textiles, and an interesting parallel between those and European printed textiles made in Jouy as soon as the 18th century.

El Anatsui pieces are stunning, gorgeous, never seen before. This 77 years old Ghanean artist, living in Nigeria, has been working for two decades with recycled metal, building colorful and powerful cloths. He made an installation at the Conciergerie, with arches above two rivers, stones and cloths, especially build for this location.
