Planning for Four People, I started a sample. I wanted to test the wool I had bought, to give a try to the triangles for my frame, to see how colors matched together. Then, I tried a Rebecca Mezoff exercise about hills and valley turns for smooth lines. Finally, I wove the first three-ply wool I ever spun ( be kind to me) and a cotton thread I fancied at the store.
And Four People? Coming soon, but as I said last week, the triangles are not matching, and I’m trying to figure that out. Happily, I’m the master of my weaving, and I will do whatever I want. You’ll see next week, hopefully .
Pour préparer Four People, j’ai commencé un échantillon. Je voulais tester la laine que j’avais achetée, faire des essais de triangle, voir comment les couleurs allaient ensemble. Puis j’ai attaqué un exercice de Rebecca Mezoff, tissé de la laine à trois brins ( la première que j’ai tissé moi-même, bof bof…) et un coton fantaisie qui m’a plu à Vigneux.
Et Four People? Ben comme je le pensais, les triangles ne sont pas face à face, et je cherche une solution. Heureusement c’est moi qui commande, et je ferai bien ce que je voudrai. Vous verrez ça la semaine prochaine en principe.
