  • Siffrin

Siffrin is an @insertdisc5’s original character, from their game Start again : a prologue. I wanted to weave this character, but I’m not totally satisfied of this piece, I will redo it soon. However, better done than perfect, there it is. Siffrin est un personnage créé par @insertdisc5 dans son jeu Start again : a…

  • Alice et Anita

They are almost done now, off the loom, I still have to make the finitions. As I’m totally behind that blog, I will try something new: very short articles, just a photo and a legend, but more. Alice et Anita sont presque finies, tombées du métier, mais il reste les finitions. Comme je suis vraiment…

I was honored to be invited of this Tolkien tapestry at the Cité de la tapisserie in Aubusson. I was invited there by my friend Julie who was one of the weavers. • January 2021

I didn’t post a lot in January, but a lot of things happened. I began my two big tapestries, the kilim and Alice et Anita 7. I attended my first cuting (unlooming? Cut-off? Whatever) ceremony at the Cité de la tapisserie; and my friends did a lot of things too. I will dedicate a post…

Life is short, we’re getting older” (Fred Astaire), and before it’s too late, I want to reconnect with what I always liked, and wanted to study and share: making textiles, textures and jewels. So here I am, and this blog will be a piece of the sharing part. I will try to post weekly, on what I do, but also on textiles I love, blogs I discover, books I read.

I bet I will struggle with technology, (it’s my first blog) and with English, which is not my mother tongue. I made the choice of English because the online weaving community is mostly English speaking .

Et pour vous, mes amis français, un résumé de tout ça : la vie est courte, et il y a des tas de choses que j’ai envie de faire et de partager, alors je me lance dans ce blog, on verra bien.
